
So you hired an organizer or did all the hard work on your own following these first steps and now you've got a bunch of stuff to get rid of. If you're like me and hate seeing perfectly useable stuff get thrown away, here is a directory to many places in the Asheville area where you can resell or donate your no longer wanted items!

National chain known for being very cheap (which means they tend to have lower standards) accepting:
Clothing, houseware, etc, with little resale value (but make sure they are still clean [i.e. no rat droppings] otherwise they will be thrown out!)
Consignment/Buy Outright:

They take a 50-55% cut when the item sells

Ah, if nothing else, you can always pawn it! These pawn shops takes everything from paddling gear to sewing machines to jewelry and pays cash up front.
