Policies

General:

  • Appointment confirmations are only provided for the first appointment, unless otherwise asked for. Clients are expected to keep track of their appointments.  

In-person work sessions:

  • All adults whose space is being organized must be present during the session unless otherwise discussed. Open Spaces Organizing will not do work in a space belonging to an adult not present

  • Session minimums are 3 hours, starting upon arrival and ending upon departure. If we extend the session or cut it off early, I round to the nearest half-hour unless otherwise agreed on a case-by-case basis. 

  • Travel fees: Open Spaces Organizing covers up to an hour or 60 mile commute (whichever comes first). After that, the client will be charged a travel fee of half the hourly rate. 

  • Clients are expected to participate in the work session alongside me, unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the session start. 

  • We ask that clients please minimize distractions and interruptions as much as possible, so they can get the most out of their session!

 

Cancellation Policy

  • Life happens, and sometimes a client can’t keep their appointment. No worries, we can always reschedule! Open Spaces Organizing simply asks that clients give 48 hours or more notice. If a cancellation is received by that time (texts and emails are successfully delivered), there is no fee. 

  • Any cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in a fee of half the session cost, unless otherwise discussed. 

  • No-shows and last minute cancellations (two hours or less before the start of the appointment) will result in a charge of the full session cost.
